Walking the Path to Yule ~ Day 7

Day 7

In this time of traveling to the longest night, we can be faced with many, many things. The overstuffed calendar and the never-ending cycle of ‘what I need to do’ will only lead us to a place that is deeper and darker than the night itself. What purpose does that serve? Who does that serve?

As a spiritual pilgrim on the path to understanding, healing, rebirth and enlightenment, how are we spending our time? How do we take care of our needs? Do we offer ourselves the space, patience, and care we so deeply need and deserve? If we can take the time that we need for ourselves, what would it look like? What would be offered? How would you feel?

I feel when we judge ourselves too harshly or refuse to replenish our needs, it causes us harm and we can stray from our path. By offering ourselves rest, stillness, and silence, we are able to foster the light, love, and our unique gifts and abilities. I know for myself; I forget to rest and explore the silence within. That is something that I am learning and remembering to offer myself at this time. I hope that you are able to offer yourself the special gift of your heart and light.

Be well on your path,
